Life is all about timing, and it doesn’t change with real estate and listing your home. Each real estate market and area is different, but we have noticed there are definitely better days than others, to list your home. Granted sometimes life doesn’t always play by “ideal rules,” and ultimately, the seller is our boss, so we will always be awesome – no matter what day you’re able to list your home. But if we can have an ideal world, we have strong opinions for homes in Placer County, California to be listed …
Along with the three “hot” reasons why in this video, we also have another set of reasons. By default, the offer won’t expire till Monday, unless specifically set to expire before Friday evening. So it gives us a full weekend to be on the market. It’s always nice to have it exposed to the broadest audience, for the largest pool of the best buyers out there – while your home is still “fresh to the market.”
Plus, reality check, a lot of folks are on their email – even at work on Friday morning. We like that email showing up in folks’ email boxes Friday morning when they’re setting their schedules. Each home and neighborhood is unique – so let us know if you would like a detailed analysis on your home.

Congrats on the exposure with Realtor.com. Very impressive. I’m just waiting for the Trump wig video. 🙂
HA! That one makes me a teency bit anxious – hopefully it comes out as fun, as intended. I have seen a few agents get chewed up, and spit out on the other REALTOR.com videos. I’m nervous 🙁 Keyboard warriors can be darn cruel and judgmental. @ryanlundquist:disqus
Yeah, I get that. Trump is such a polarizing figure. I’ll look for the humor and expect everyone else to do the same. You guys are genuinely funny and tasteful. Can’t wait to see it. 🙂
It totally makes sense to post for the coming weekend. When I was looking for a home a few years ago we rarely looked at listings more than a day or two old because we wanted current ads. I’ll have to remember this if we sell this house. http://www.topproperties.illinoisproperty.com/
Hello @kyle_o_ren:disqus thanks for chiming in … we love Wednesday and Thursday, if we have the chance. We never say items in absolutes, and we realize each market might be different, but all that we stated is true in conjunction with … having an offer received, by default in California, doesn’t need a response till Monday. So it gives the sellers a full weekend of exposure (granted sometimes the first offer, is the best offer). All educated evaluation, and case-by-case. And ultimately our seller is the boss, we just like to share what we observe as “successful for us” so others can check it out too. 🙂 <3 (heather o)

I’m a little nervous about that one – hopefully it came out okay. I haven’t seen the REALTOR.com edits yet. EeEeeek.
